Dr. Jack Doyle (he/him) joined the MindOut Training team in October 2020 while also working as the Trans Advocacy Worker, bringing with him extensive experience supporting LGBTQ people with mental health experiences. A veteran grassroots organiser for UK and international LGBTQ health initiatives, Jack is one of the UK's foremost experts in transgender healthcare advocacy. At MindOut, he supported other trans, non-binary, and intersex people accessing healthcare, housing, employment, safety, immigration help, and legal support.
In 2021, Jack joined Spectra in London as an Independent Health Advocate to launch a new trans advocacy service. Jack holds a doctorate in the history of war from the University of Oxford, where he co-founded the Oxford Queer Studies Network and Oxford Mutual Aid. In January 2023, Jack joined Oxford again as a lecturer in Queer Studies and History. He is also a graduate of classical theatre training programmes at Shakespeare & Company and the British American Drama Academy, and has worked as a journalist for platforms including OZY and NPR.
